Department Store Workplace Conversion

About this Project

A large area created by the departure of the major retail tenant created the perfect opportunity for this government agency to locate to one space. With natural light only to one side of the floor and a higher than usual ceilings, the challenge was to create an open and engaging workplace with an emphasis on light throughout. An outdoor deck was an opportunity to draw the outside in with natural timber tones alongside the botanical greens providing an extended feeling of an outdoor haven.
